What Is The Different Between An Estimate and A Proposal?
An estimate serves as an initial guideline of what you can expect pre-construction. Pricing or costs provided in an estimate are based on an initial project consultation.
A proposal is a much more realistic representation of the official costs of a remodeling project. Post-consultation, RessaBuilt provides their clients with a finalized scope of work complete with labor, permits, material costs, and timing.
Once both parties agree on the proposal, any additional changes must be processed through a project change order.
-
Do You Provide Estimates For Free?
Yes! As part of the initial consultation, we provide free estimates based on our previous experiences to help establish a preliminary budget. All prices and costs provided in a free estimate are not final and are subject to change.
-
When Do We Receive Drawings for Review?
As a part of the design-build process, RessaBuilt will provide you with drawings to review after your initial estimate, should you decide to proceed. Some clients opt to work with an architect to develop a blueprint for the prospective home renovation, prior to the construction phase.
Many clients actually come to us with drawings already made for their space. In these cases, we will include the review of these drawings as a part of the proposal process.
